The wool becomes much more durable, velvet-like and almost silky to touch. It adds a glow to the rug and the finish overall is much more luxurious.
This rug is directly inspired by the oldest rug in the world, the Pazyryk Rug. The Pazyryk rug is believed to be the oldest rug in the world, dating around the 4th–3rd centuries BC.
