Saddle bags were and still are used for storage and handling in Afghanistan. It would lay on top of camels, horses & even donkeys to transport items. These tribal goodies are unique to each piece. As they are made by tribal people, each saddle bag has its quirks. They can be used as rugs and or cushions. Or even use it as a saddle bag!
