With a nice honey brown finish, Teak Protector is a water based product making it a lot more forgiving in the event that you are unable to keep up the ongoing application over time. Frequency of application will depend on the level of sun exposure. In full sun it may need to be applied every few months. If under cover and with little or no sun exposure, it might only be every 2 to 3 years.
