Made from cast aluminium they are sturdy, produce an even bake and most importantly a highly decorative and details cake shape. Important Use Instructions The key to using the Bundt tins is the preparation, and although they all have a premium non-stick finish it is still important to coat your pan to ensure the intricate details are represented in the finished cake. Please DO NOT use Baking or Oil Sprays. Just No! Coat the interior of the pan with soft (but not melted) butter or vegetable shortening, use a pastry brush to ensure it gets into all the little cavities and details with a nice thick layer. Dust lightly but thoroughly with plain flour or cocoa powder for dark & chocolate cakes, and then shake off any excess. Do this just before pouring your cake mix into the pan. Do not fill more than ¾ Full to allow for rising. Tap the tin firmly a couple of times onto the bench to remove air bubbles and get the mix right into the corners. Let the batter sit in the tin for 10 minutes to allow it to settle into the pan. After cooking let the cake cool for 10 minutes in the pan and then shake lightly from side to side to help release it and invert onto a cooling rack or serving plate.
